Dear Parents

UNIFORM

A reminder that our learners will change into summer uniform as from:

Monday, 05 September 2022. Please take note that dri-macs are not part of the summer uniform, but it may be worn on rainy / cool days.

We are seriously concerned about some of our learners’ dress and appearance. We find many learners are not abiding to the School’s Code of Conduct regarding the Dress Code. We also request parents to please see to your children’s appearance before sending them to school. It really lifts the moral of the school if our learners represent us with pride.

GRADE 7 ENTREPRENEURS DAY (FLEAMARKET)

Our Grade 7 Learners will be hosting an Entrepreneurs’ Day on 02 September 2022. The cost of items on sale will range from R2.00 to R50.00. Learners must please bring along some spending money on the day to support the Grade Sevens in this project.

TRAFFIC

We appeal to parents not to stop on the zebra-crossing when dropping off and collecting learners. This is not only against the road safety regulations but is also dangerous for the children. Kindly pull up in the areas provided for parking.

FOUNDATION PHASE CONCERT

Our Grade 1, 2 and 3 teachers and learners have been busy all term practicing for their concert which takes place on the nights of

26, 27, 28 and 29 September 2022.

Tickets are on sale at a cost of R70 per person per show on a first-come-first served basis. Your child will be given the opportunity to come to the office during the day to book the seats.

If you are booking tickets, kindly place your money in an envelope clearly marked with your child's name, stating the number of tickets required and the night for which you are booking.

Once the allocated seating for each night has been filled, no further tickets for that night will be sold. The hall will be filled to capacity and there will be no standing room.

Due to the fact that the sound will be quite loud, please do not include babies and children under the age of three years. Children accompanying you must have their own seats.

NO CHILDREN WILL BE ALLOWED TO SIT ON THEIR PARENTS’ LAPS!

SPRING DAY

Please take note that Friday, 02 September 2022 will be Civvies Day for all learners from Grade 1 to 7.

Learners do not have to pay to wear Civvies.

CROSS COUNTRY

15 of our athletes participated at the D6 Championships last week Friday.

Competition was tough but our learners displayed excellent sportsmanship skills.
