Newsletter 20 28 July

Dear Parents

FOUNDATION PHASE CONCERT

It has now become URGENT that learners bring in the R200.00 to cover the cost of the production of the concert together with the reply slip giving permission for your child to be included in the concert. Please make every effort to send this money in to the class teacher without delay.

BIG WALK SPONSORSHIP

We encourage all our learners to please collect the sponsor money due to them for the Big Walk and hand it to the class teacher. All sponsor cards returned together with the money are placed into a lucky draw and mystery prizes can be won.

Remember that the first class to have collected all monies pledged and the class that brings in the most money will receive a special surprise.

SCHOOL FEES

Thank you to the many parents who have kept to their commitment. In order to offer and maintain a high standard of education, we need to ensure that our finances stay healthy. Unfortunately there are still some unsettled accounts where no attempts have been made to make arrangements.

Please check your accounts and ensure that your school fees are up to date.

Remember that fees for this year need to be paid up in full by the end of October 2022.

CLOSING DATE FOR 2023 ADMISSIONS

Please take note that the closing date for 2023 admissions is on the 19 August 2022. Parents are to register their details and learner details ONLINE. Thereafter supporting documents need to be submitted to the office.

Please note that siblings are not automatically given admission. Parents must have followed the correct procedure and applied online.

For any queries please contact Miss Nkosi.

LEARNER RESPONSIBILITY

There has been an increase in the number of learners arriving at the office to ask the secretaries to contact their parents for things like forgotten homework, projects, PE clothes, extra mural kits, tuck shop money, lunches etc.

This is not school policy so please be advised that unless it is an emergency, the secretaries will not contact parents for such items. It is also not school policy to lend children PE clothing from the second hand shop.

Please encourage your children to become responsible by seeing to it that items required for their daily school routine are packed and ready in time before they leave for school.
